“ We travel every Year to Winthrop from South Florida. Our first stopeverytime is to Nicks Place. I love the steak and cheese subs, no BS, the steak and cheese subs are the best I have ever had and I travel to a lot of places. Ms. Gabriela is so sweet and provides the BEST customer service in the industry she really makes you feel at home. The restaurant is always clean and the food always arrive hot and quick. Dont take my advice on it, go try it for yourself. I promise you will NOT be disappointed. ”
“ Let me start by saying that I am not one who often leaves reviews, but I will always give credit where its due and its long overdue here. me and the family order from here at LEAST once a week for years now, heres my take however biased it might be. Just last night I made what could probably be called our usual order these days Large Pepperoni Extra Cheese, Large Steak Fries, Sm Onion Ring, and a large Mozzarella Sticks nothing unusual but I decided to add 3 Baklavas since it had been some time now since me and the kids have had some. About 15 minutes after the wife ordered she gets a call back that they only had 2 and if we would like a substitution, I say anything is fine. They sent us 2 massive chocolate chip cookies that they make in house, and 2 brownies as a replacement for the one Baklava. That right there has been the embodiment of every single time weve gotten food from Nicks over the years. Amazing quality, food is always hot when it gets to my house, the girls taking phone orders are always super helpful and absolute sweethearts. I honestly cant give more praise to what everyone at this restaurant puts in to result in the best take out I can order period. If youre ever feeding a crowd, try the large Steak and Cheese calzone, extra American cheese with onions and bacon. Its been a killer everytime weve had friends over or a birthday party. Like I said, I might be biased because Ive never had a bad experience in the years of both take out and dine in, but if you are in the area give this place a try. You will not regret it! ”

My husband and I visited Nicks Place on New Years Day, we were wondering around Winthrop when we decided to check this place out, and let me tell you, it was the perfect way to start 2023 mouthwatering food, we had the best fried calamari, lobster roll and grilled salmon. “ My family has held my sons both fourth and just on the first weekend of March, 2025 fifth birthday celebrations there, and everything was just perfection! I mean, all the different entrees, snacks, not to mention their desserts, are absolutely phenomenal. Both times, we just called a few weeks ahead and asked the manager when the most appropriate daytime would be, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Especially the manager, his coworker Adam, and the adorable Gabriella went above and beyond to make sure everybody was more than satisfied and constantly checking up on us to make sure we had anything and everything we needed or wanted. As the birthday boys mother, Im quite petite in stature. But, without even having to ask, Adam volunteered himself to help me hang up my sons BIRTHDAY BANNER in the perfect spot.
